We have a busy house. Between two kids and a small zoo of animals, five cats and a dog, our floors are constantly under attack. Right out of the box, the setup was incredibly easy. The physical design of the base station is so smart because it only uses one dirty water bin and one clean water bin, but they both have a massive capacity. I don't have to constantly baby the water levels.
But my absolute favorite physical feature is the DuoSolution system. In past robot vacuums, you had to manually premix your cleaning solution directly into the clean water supply tank, which is a mess and a hassle. With the Mova, you just fill up the dedicated concentrate compartment, and the dock automatically mixes it into the supply line on its own. You literally just set it and leave it.
A Generous Box of Accessories (A Rare Find)
Another massive plus that I have to give Mova credit for is all the extra accessories they included in the "Complete" package. It came loaded with:
- Extra mopping pads
- An extra main roller brush
- Extra dust filters and a bunch of disposable dust bags
We've been running this daily for weeks, and because the self-emptying base station is so efficient, we haven't even had to change the original dust bag yet. We also keep a quick routine where every other week we pull out the dust filters, give them a quick hand wash, let them dry, and pop in the clean spare filters that came in the box so the robot can stay in constant rotation without any downtime.
Five Cats vs. Cat Litter
If you have five cats, you know the absolute pain of cat litter tracking. Litter is notoriously difficult for robot vacuums—cheap ones just scatter it everywhere, or the moisture from the mop turns it into a clay-like cement in the rollers.
The V50 Ultra manages this beautifully. Its sensors actually detect the larger particles of tracked litter, vacuums them up cleanly, and then does an immediate auto-empty at the dock. It doesn't get stuck, and it keeps the litter from being dragged across the rest of the house.
App Customization & Mapping
The app is incredibly intuitive and deeply customizable. You can set up shortcuts for specific high-traffic zones (like right in front of the litter boxes or under the kitchen table) and choose exactly what mode you want:
Just vacuuming, Just mopping, vacuum and mop, and a full vacuum pass followed by a deep mop run (which is amazing for preventing dirty pet hair from getting wet)
The LiDAR mapping is incredibly extensive. Honestly, the more it cleans, the smarter and more efficient its routes get. We have a solid schedule set up now: every single morning at 6am, it does a quiet vacuum run of our main living areas while we get ready, and then we have deep-clean mopping schedules programmed to run at specific times throughout the week.
Surprisingly Quiet & Smart Navigation
I was expecting a vacuum with this much suction power to sound like a jet engine, but it is remarkably quiet when it's running in both vacuum and mop modes. Even when it returns to the dock to auto-empty the dustbin into the bag, the suction noise is much quieter and deeper than the loud, high-pitched screeching you get from cheaper competitor models.
It handles transitions and small floor obstacles with ease. In three weeks, the only time it has actually gotten stuck was when it swallowed a small toy one of the kids left on the floor. When that happened, it immediately stopped, sent a clear notification to my phone via the app explaining exactly what was wrong, and waited for me to quickly clear the roller.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It has made managing a busy household with six animals and two kids so much easier, and we’re excited to keep utilizing it and seeing its long-term potential. Mova really nailed the user experience on this one—from the generous spare parts kit to the intelligent water and solution management.
